Teams in SLSA

It is the decision of the Board of Directors that the SLSA will no longer track and award team points.We hope to promote more unity in our organization and will continue to support its teams. They are an invaluable source of information, coaching, and friendship.

Sad news,,, i wish contests were held on an additional day besides Saturday. Perhaps that would spur additional members participating.

When we started the team scoring, there were many concerns. And seems that over time, many of those concerns played out. There once was several active teams, team competition consolidated teams more than it helped to grow new teams. I support this decision, though I wonder if it is too little too late.
